The most important thing that confidence builds upon is focusing on what you can do rather than what you can’t do.

Our conscious mind is constantly entangled in these thoughts
whether I can do it, how it is possible for me to do it, do I have the necessary talent or skill set to do it, is the opportunity for me or not.

The more we focus on such constant questions in our mind, The more we focus on “I can’t” , The lesser is our confidence to do something.

Rather the focus should always be on what you can.

SO how to do it?
If you want yourself to focus more on what you can then find that talent , that skill or that ability that’s gifted to you.

There is no person on this 7 billion+ people’s planet who can say he/she was born with no special abilities and has the basic survival skills only.

Everybody has something extra always remember every damn person.

So to focus only on what you got is the First thing that gives you confidence.

But unfortunately this is not the common trend in our societies people tend to focus more on what other people have, That’s where they start loosing their confidence in the first place.

To sum up the first point :- Focus on what you can not on what you can’t, focus on your gifts not on others gifts.

For second point let me tell you a short story,

In a city located somewhere there were lots of frogs. One day the frogs decided we will climb the tallest building in the city. It was one of a kind of challenge the frogs had taken ever there was excitement everywhere. Whole city gathered even the humans.
The race began with huge crowd all the media around and frogs began to climb the tall building.
As the frogs began to climb some bystanders started commenting this is impossible are you guys crazy it’s suicidal look at the height of building.
You guys can’t even climb one fourth of the height of the building, You don’t have the strength. Some frogs got worried and began to fall down. Some were climbing still, People started shouting again are you overconfident you would definitely die tonight listening to it others also got worried and fell down.
At the end there was just one frog which kept climbing reached the top finished the race and came down.

On the arrival of the winner media inquired “marvelous achievement, what speciality do you have to overcome this challenge ,how did you achieve it” .The frog replied pointing his ears “Annn Nnn”.
He was deaf ,He heard nothing he just came to participate and knew the goal.

To sum up the second point :- If you have people around you who always say you can’t do it, How will you ever gain confidence? It is better to be deaf towards such people.

Third point

If you want to see if you can do something the best way to check it is by jumping into doing it. You will be defeated sometimes it is natural to fail in what you do but if you are not going to try you are not going to get anywhere anyways.

There is a quote “A ship is always going to have to sail over the rough seas, but it is better to sail over the rough seas than to be anchored at the shore because the purpose of the ship was not to be anchored at the shore but to sail over the rough seas”

Challenges will come it’s only then you will become a skilled sailor if you keep your ship anchored at the shore you will only gain frustration and lack of confidence nothing else.

To sum up the third point:- All I want to say is just jump. It will be wonderful sooner or later.

See you soon…
